The Keene Chamber of Commerce was formed on July 1, 1993, when 25 people met at the old Keene Diner at the corner of Hillcrest and Old Betsy Road and founded the Keene Chamber of Commerce.

• We are a dues-supported membership-based organization
  
• Operated by a volunteer board of community business leaders
  
• Supported by a staff of dedicated volunteers.
  
• We provide a platform for our members to promote their businesses in the community and surrounding Johnson County
  
• We are actively engaged in promoting the Keene, Texas, area to visitors, newcomers, and new businesses.
